Marriages and Burials

We have read/deciphered some old ledgers dating from the mid 19th century; these are extremely difficult to read and there may, therefore, be the odd spelling mistake.  These are available for downloading by clicking on the respective links below.  They have been set out in both chronological and alphabetical order

A list of inscriptions on the remaining legible headstones will be provided on the Memorial Garden page.

NB As a result of the Burial Acts of the 1850's, from about 1870 burials usually took place in the Public Cemetery in Stow-on-the-Wold, rather than in the church grounds.
